Excel Business Intelligence
October 11 - October 14£TBA
Imagine Training joins ECMS for a two part course in Microsoft Excel Level 5 Business Intelligence, split between 2 half days. The first part of the course will be delivered on Monday 11th October 09:30am – 12:30pm and the second part on Thursday 14th October 09:30am – 12:30pm.
With 10 years experience of successfully delivering online training, Imagine Training could help you learn essential skills for business. Trainers use the internet to deliver our training courses, direct to your desktop. Electronic training manuals help you retain what you learn and you can interact with us in the session and ask questions, watching the screen on your desk instead of the projector screen in your training room.
Intended for Advanced Excel users this one day exclusive course runs through an overview of how to use new tools – Power Query, Power Pivot and Power Maps.
On this TWO HALF DAY course you will learn how to clean, manipulate and refresh large amounts of data. Our training is in small groups with an experienced Microsoft approved trainer and it is ‘hands on’ exercises to give you practical experience to take back to your workplace. We also steer you towards further resources to help you after the class.
You’ll take a first look at the capability of the new Business Intelligence tools in Excel and see how they are used to take the data you have cleansed to create insights using Data Visualisations and Dashboards for Management Reports.
Further training on this topic, including creating DAX formulas and measures, is in the Excel Visualisations course.
Pre-requisite knowledge: Windows, Excel Secrets, Excel Ninjas and Excel Gurus or equivalent knowledge/skills.
All course costs will be advised once you have made an enquiry with Imagine Training.
Course/Webinar delivery is supported by the ECMS. By booking onto the short course you are agreeing to share your data with ECMS and with the Training Provider. The ECMS will collect limited and specified personal information to enable it to deliver business support services, to comply with its funding obligations and to better understand its community so that it can meet the needs of clients with a view to continually improving services.
