How to Drive Business Innovations with 3D printing
November 3 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pmFree
On Wednesday 3rd November 3D Print Academy will host a 2 hour seminar plus networking time on how to drive business innovations with 3D printing technology. Stratasys certified trainer Richard Bolam will deliver an interactive session covering the following topics:
What is Additive Manufacturing (AM)? Benefits and Applications of 3D printing, you will appreciate how 3D printing is a powerful innovation tool, how and why 3D printing is being adopted to innovate new products.
What AM technologies are there?
Even in 3D Printing there are limitations – designers need to know these, in order to make their specific parts produceable in a specific AM technology. When is it most effective to use AM, where are limitations to be expected? Design parts bearing in mind design rules for FDM and the basics of topology optimisation.
No matter what your skill level or understanding of AM is, this interactive session will get you thinking about the innovative ways your business can take advantage of the incredible flexibility and design freedom AM can offer. We will give you an insight in to industry applications, bringing you up to speed with recent developments in Stratasys AM technologies enabling you to choose the right technology and material for your specific application.
Join us to explore the latest Innovations in 3D Printing introducing the Stratasys Polyjet J55, Origin One which uses P3 technology, Powder-based SAF technology and One Click Metal technology.
